Mom and Al arrived Thursday late afternoon. The trip was relatively uneventful, given the circumstances.

So far the visit has been more than we could have possibly hoped for! There have been many naps but when Mom is awake she's been completely lucid and so eager to spend time with the boys (not that this is any different from other trips).

Al and I were just talking this morning about how we wanted to show Dana our appreciation again somehow. If it wouldn't have been for her following her intuition on cutting back on Mom's medication, this trip would have been much different.
We haven't done anything much aside from leaving the house to visit one of the boy's favorite toy stores, but the time spent inside just hanging out together has been worth it!

We do have a few more things we'd like to try to get to together but we're taking it slow and just embracing even the down time together.

We're so grateful for this time. It has been such a gift for us to be together for this little while.
So very glad that things are going well for you guys. I Have been worried that things would go well and you guys would get the time you needed. I could not be happier that things are going well for both her and you guys. Love you all
